Hopefully you have successfully posted a campaign using the tutorial (located HERE). Now that you have posted it and are promoting it via your social networks, you will want to know how much you are earning!

First we should discuss a bit of terminology. The terms you will want to know in order to help with understanding your performance are Impressions, Click and Conversion.
An impression is the number of times that an ad (or banner) is displayed on your website. This is no indication if the banner caught the attention of your reader, it just indicates that someone was there and the page loaded with your ad/banner on that page. A good measure of whether people are seeing your ad/banner and if it interest them is your number of clicks. Clicks are when your reader clicks on the ad/banner and heads on over to Infostable’s page (for whichever campaign you are advertising) to get more information. Lastly (and to many most importantly) are your conversions. This is the number of times that the reader who saw your ad/banner, then clicked on it and then completed the task that will get you paid. Each campaign will have a different metric as to what counts as a conversion. Drawing from the example in the previous tutorial (located HERE), the metric for the iPad 3 giveaway is that a reader provides their information as entry into the sweepstakes (again, remember that Infostable only pays on sweepstakes for unique email address so if your reader had previously signed up for another Infostable hosted sweepstakes, you will not get paid for the conversion). It is key to know what generates a conversion for a specific campaign, it can be anything from providing information to making a purchase depending on what type of campaign you are running.
